- The applicant must have completed and passed the 10 + 2 examination with a cut-off limit of 50 % of marks set for NRI category is 78% marks under the Kerala State Higher Secondary Board (Kerala HSC) OR Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) OR Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE) after a period of 12 years study.
- The last two years of study must comprise of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training
