<p>The eligibility criteria for admission to OUAT for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology are:</p> <ul> <li>The candidate must have completed 17 years of age by 31.12.2024 (Born on or before 31.12.2007).</li> <li>The candidate must have passed +2 Science/equivalent with P.C.M. or P.C.B. combinations.</li> <li>The minimum percentage of marks required is 45% for UR category and 40% for SC/ST/PwD candidates in +2 Science/equivalent.</li> <li>The selection of candidates will be based on a weighted score, which is calculated on the basis of their academic career and performance in the Entrance Examination.</li> <li>The weighted score will be calculated as follows: <ul> <li>25% of percentage of marks secured in H.S.C/equivalent </li> <li>25% of percentage of marks secured in PCM/PCB (whichever is higher) in +2 Science/equivalent</li> <li>50% of marks secured in the Entrance Examination.</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
