    To be eligible for admission to Panjab University for M.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry, candidates must meet the following criteria:
    - They should have passed B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Panjab University.
    - Alternatively, they should have passed B.Sc. (Pass or Hons.) examination with 50% marks from Panjab University or any other recognised university, with Chemistry in all three years or any two Science subjects in two years of graduation.
    - Another option is to have passed B.Sc. (Hons.) in any subject under the Choice-based Credit System with 24 credits in Chemistry as a Generic Elective Subject.
