    The eligibility criteria for admission to Punjabi University Patiala for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is:
    - 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) without reappear and pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at the Matriculation examination level from Punjab School Education Board/Central Board of Secondary Education or any other board recognised as equivalent thereto.
    - Admission is made on the basis of merit in the qualifying class.

The main criteria was you passed class 12 as a science student (PCB ,PCM ) both candidates can apply but commerce and arts students can't able to apply in this course
