The eligibility criteria for admission to St. Xavier's College, Mumbai for M.Sc. in Biotechnology are:
BSc in Biological sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Botany/Life Science/ Microbiology/ Zoology) with Chemistry up to SYBSc level or BSc in Chemistry with Biology courses up to SYBSc level.
The selection criteria is based on the merit list derived using the following weightage:
a. Score obtained in the entrance examination - 70% weightage
b. Qualifying BSc examination percentage (SEMESTER 5 and 6/ SEMESTER 5) - 30% weightage
