Eligibility criteria for admission to VIT Vellore for B.Des. in Industrial Design:
- Valid UCEED score or V-DAT (Design Aptitude Test) score
- 10+2 marks in the qualifying examination
- Selection based on UCEED score/V-DAT score and 10+2 marks
- VIT-DAT is for candidates who have not attended UCEED exams or do not have a valid UCEED score or are disqualified in UCEED. It consists of a 2-hour written exam with no negative marking (weightage 50%) and a portfolio presentation of original creative works.
