CUSAT has prescribed a basic eligibility requirement for admission to various BSc specialisations. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 with the specified minimum aggregate and the required subjects. The specialisation-wise eligibility criteria for BSc admission at the university are as follows:
BSc Specialisations Eligibility Criteria Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Photonics Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% aggregate for SEBC-NCL candidates) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects Biological Sciences Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% aggregate for SEBC-NCL candidates) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects Environmental Science & Technology Class 12 or an equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% aggregate for SEBC-NCL candidates) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology (PCM/PCB) as compulsory subjects
