    To be eligible for a BSc in Agriculture, students must meet the following criteria:

    • Class 12: Students must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with a minimum score of 50% in the Science stream.
    • Subjects: Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in Class 12.
    • Entrance exam: Some universities may conduct their own entrance exams or common entrance exams.
    • Intermediate: Students who have completed their intermediate in agriculture are also eligible.

    Criteria is to pass with 55%-60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years. Diploma in Agriculture after class 10th or equivalent, subject to valid score in entrance test.

    In order to pursue B.Sc in agriculture, you need to have completed your HSC education. You need to opt for PCM or PCB stream in HSC.

    1. The minimum qualification required to apply for B.Sc. in agriculture is 50-60% (depends on institute to institute) in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
    2. Admission criterion is an entrance test conducted by various institutes which differs from place to place.

    B.Sc. In Agriculture Eligibility
    Successfully complete a 10+2 in Physics Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board. Complete 10+2 with a minimum of 50 per cent of marks. Appear in the agriculture colleges entrance examinations conducted to provide admissions in B.Sc. Agriculture.

    In the situation of Covid-19, LPU has relaxed their eligibility norms. Because of which LPU NEST is not compulsory for all the programmes. As for this programme LPU NEST works for scholarship purpose only. Here I am sharing the eligibility criteria of B.Sc. Hons Agriculture programme I. e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) or 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) or 2 years.
