What are the eligibility criteria for HPCET?

Eligibility Criteria for the HPCET exam: Bachelor of Technology (Direct): The student must have passed class 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry Biotechnology, Biology Technical Vocational subjects securing at least 45 percent marks for the general category and 40 percent in case of student belonging to reserved category. Basic admission criteria for Bachelor of Technology programs: In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of the Joint Entrance Examination Main and Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test, the remaining seats will be filled up on the basis of merit of the 12th standard examination conducted by a recognised Board or University.
