CSIR NAT NET marks are helpful for getting a job as assistant professor or junior research fellow for higher graduation like Ph.D and the eligibility criteria is MSc in any field of science.

If you want to pursue M.Sc. From IITs then you have to appear in IIT JAM examination which is held every year.
