What are the eligibility criteria for opting M.Sc. + Ph.D. in molecular medical microbiology as a course at IIT Kharagpur?

<p>Eligibility requirements (ERs) for admission to M.Sc.+ Ph.D. in Molecular Medical Microbiology at IIT Kharagpur: The candidates who qualify in JAM shall have to fulfill the following eligibility requirements (ERs) for admissions to IITs. 1. All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelors degree. 2. In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC-NCL/EWS category candidates, and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates. Educational qualification : B.Sc./B.S. degree (three years/six semesters) with Biology/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Life Science/ Physiology/ Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Genetics and molecular biology as Honors/Major/Main Subject, and any one of Chemistry/ Physics/ Mathematics as one of compulsory subsidiary subject for at least one year/ two semesters. Further, you have to attempt Biotechnology (BT) as test paper in IIT JAM for admission here.&nbsp;</p>
