The Combined Medical Services Exam is conducted by UPSC to recruit doctors for central services. The exam is administered in two stages, and the following qualifications are required for UPSC CMS:
1. Nationality: The applicant needs to be an Indian citizen. Non-Indian citizens may also apply if they meet certain criteria, such as being from Nepal, Bhutan, or a refugee from Tibet.
