What are the eligibility criteria to appear in GATE examination?

iam a student of electronics engineering here in mumbai university.as i have plain electronics..can i be eligible for gate?? please answer quickly so that i can plan accordingly.

yes , but if u r a brilliant student and u want to secure ur future then it will not good for you. because its placement is not enough to make ur future bright
