What are the eligibility criteria to appear in NET?

Are courses held by Madurai Kamaraj University ( Directorate of distance education ) approved by UGC & can a person securing above 55% in Masters from the mentioned university - Distance education mode eligible to appear for NET/SET

Madurai Kamaraj University ( Directorate of distance education ) is recognised by UGC and DEC. Yes person securing above 55% marks in Masters is eligible to appear for NET/SET
