What are the eligibility criteria to apply as an EWS candidate in CAT?

My income exceeds 8 lakhs but will fall below this threshold if I resign from my job upon selection. I do not have any other properties. Can I apply under the EWS category in this case?

    To apply as an EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidate in CAT, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

    1. Income Limit: Your annual family income should be less than ?8 Lacs from all sources.
    2. Asset Criteria: You should not own agricultural land of more than 5 acres or residential land above 1000 sq. ft. in urban areas.
    3. Educational Qualification: You must meet the basic educational qualifications required for CAT, which include a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (or 45% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
