Hi aspirant! The eligibility criteria for admission into Civil Engineering courses in India can be broadly stated as the following:
Minimum Qualification: You must have completed your 12th standard (or equivalent) from a recognised school/college.
Science Stream: Majority of institutions need you to have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics popularly known as PCM stream. Some of the colleges may accept the PCMB (including Biology) as well. However, these options are rare.

Admission depends upon your JEE Mains score and percentage in 12th and if you want to join IITs then JEE Advance score matters too. Some reputed private universities such as BITS, LPU, VIT, etc. conduct their own entrance exam. 10+2 with PCM (physics, chemistry and mathematics) with min 50%-60% is the basic requirement to take admission in B.Tech civil engineering programme.
