What are the eligibility criteria to get job in Indian railways?
sir,i am a cse(computer science) 2nd year student.i want to prepare for govt job whether it is isro,drdo,ias or indian railway jobs.suggest me, which one is better for me.can i apply in rail. job via ias?what is the difference between syllabus&pattern of these exam.i want to prepare with engg.

Hi Kunal,All the above mentioned Government sectors accept CSE pass outs and differ in the selection procedures like For the IAS, you require to write Civil Services exam, for a job in Indian Railways one needs to qualify and exam conducted by RRB (Railway Recruitment Board).You can opt for either o

You definitely can apply for all the companies you mentioned herein, but all depends on the number of vacancies they have for CSE students.
For govt. jobs in computer engineering, the companies that are most popular are:
ONGC
BEL
BSNL
IOC.
For job in railways like DMRC hired 200

look all these sectors are very diffrent from each other though these are govt. jobs first of all you have to complete your engg. then you can apply for these jobs, better for u is IAS.
