M.Sc. In Chemistry is a two-year postgraduate programme and offer hons degree which is designed to impart in-depth knowledge and mastery in Chemistry with flexibility and choices. Being a student of LPU, I think I can provide you with an honest opinion. Though I'm not pursuing my M.Sc. In Chemistry, I do have may friends who are pursuing the same. The eligibility for M.Sc. Chemistry is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) (with Chemistry) or equivalent. Lovely Professional University is good University for pursuing M.Sc. Chemistry Few points that will help you to make your decision: Faculty: Most of faculty members are from IIT, IIIT, NIT, IIM, IHM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. Faculty is really helping. Even they helps after regular university hours for projects. Standard of students: They did not compromise on the quality of the students. They have a rigorous admission process. Admission can be taken if you have good percentage and you have good percentile in entrance + marks in interview. Courses offered: They have ample of courses and also provides specializations. Batch size: In every section they had 4060 Students. Placements: University provides with opportunities and it's up to the students to grab it. LPU brings in lot more companies (apx. 450+). Its up to you how you prepare yourself for the placements and stand out from the herd. LPU provide different classes for placements which helps in grooming. Students are trained in Aptitude, Reasoning, free preparation for government Exams, Soft Skills and language training, Interview skills right from the 1st year, continuously for 2/3/4 ( duration of course) years till they get job. The Master of Science in Chemistry is a two-year programme with four semesters. Once they have received their graduate degree, students can continue with this course. Students must receive at least a 55% on their qualifying exam. Since I graduated from LPU, if you don't get accepted to an IIT, I recommend LPU for this programme. When it comes to this course at LPU, a few of its key components are as follows: I learn the following through speaking with LPU friends in this department: 1. M.Sc. In Chemistry is a two years duration course with four semesters. Students can pursue this course after completing their graduation. Students have to secure minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination. Being alumni of LPU, I suggest LPU for this programme if you don't get admission in an IIT. Now talking about this course, Few of the major features of this course at LPU I come across after interacting with LPU friends of this department: 1. The curriculum of this course is designed in a way to enhance students understanding on fundamental as well as practical knowledge on varied areas of Physics. 2. Various Live Project to enhance research aptitude in students is an important aspect of the curriculum. 3. Eligibiity for M.Sc. Chemistry is 55% in Bachelors with Chemistry+ LPU NEST. Also, LPU give relaxation of 5% to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personal and their Dependent/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants. LPU lies in the top 200 University, by Times Higher Education Impact Ranking 2021. Also, ranked 3rd by Atal Ranking Institutions on Innovation Achievements 2021. One of my roommate is pursing the same course, told that, he and his whole batch got placement in reputed companies, all credit goes to PEP classes for placement. PEP Classes- LPU provides placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training &amp; Placement Institution in India.

I have gone through the many university websites, every university has different eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Chemistry programme, But, I found LPU is the best for this programme in all aspect. Let me share about the programme at LPU. You should have a minimum of 60% marks in B.Sc. Chemistry or equivalent subject to qualifying for the LPU NEST exam.
