What are the eligibility criteria to pursue undergraduate engineering courses?
hello sir this is harsha i have passed my 1oth with 89% i want to do enng in future but in 11th i have selected pcmb coz in colleges bio is cumpulsary so can i leave bio in 12th?

Hi Harsha,
As you have clearly mentioned, that you aspire to be an engineer in that case you can always drop Biology provided you are not keen to continue with it or make it as another career option and in the mean time may focus on the other three subjects - Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

Since you've secured A grade in your 10th and have aspirations to become an engg, you can leave bio and concentrate only on PCM. You should have not only have sound knowledge of subject but should also be able to apply it. Added to it you should also understand the connectivity between the subject

Dear Harsha,
You can surely drop biology from your subjects provided you have decided that you want to be engineer only and hence you will be eligible only for engineering entrance exams like IIT-JEE /AIEEE / BITSAT /VITEEE , etc.
Bio will obviously work if you want to have an option to try for me
