What are the eligibility requirements at VCU?

<p dir="ltr">The eligibility requirements for international applicants are:</p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Undergraduate Admissions</strong></p><p dir="ltr">Students should have graduated from a secondary school or equivalent (lyceum, senior middle school, university preparatory school, completion of GCSE exams, Standard 12 graduation, etc.), which typically consists of at least 12 years of education beyond kindergarten. Secondary education received by the students should make them eligible for entrance to a recognised university in their home country. VCU also requires completion of the following academic units by the final year of high school curriculum:</p><ul><li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"><p dir="ltr" role="presentation">Mathematics</p></li><li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"><p dir="ltr" role="presentation">Natural science</p></li><li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"><p dir="ltr" role="presentation">History or social science</p></li><li dir="ltr" aria-level="1"><p dir="ltr" role="presentation">English or foreign language</p></li></ul><p dir="ltr">Apart from this, students can expect special departmental requirements, including score standardized tests as a part of eligibility requirements, which can be found on the respective course pages. SAT or GRE scores are required for all pre-nursing and nursing courses. SAT or ACT scores are required for mechanical engineering courses.</p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Graduate Admissions</strong></p><p dir="ltr">Aspirants must hold the academic equivalent of a US baccalaureate degree from an accredited university. They must complete any special departmental requirements in advance standardized tests such as <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/gre">GRE</a> or <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/exams/gmat">GMAT</a>.
