Freshman applicants must have completed their the highest level of secondary education in their home country. A strong secondary academic programme with courses in Math, Natural Sciences, and English is desired. As an international student, you will be required to demonstrate English proficiency.

A US bachelor’s degree or the equivalent (a four-year/120 credit hour accredited program) is required with a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0. As an international student, you will be required to demonstrate English proficiency.

IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 (with no subsection recommended to be below 6)

TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 90 for doctoral applicants and 80 for master’s applicants

Students who do not meet this requirement must enroll in a course at the Intensive English Center (IEC) and achieve satisfactory grades before admission to the graduate course. Conditional admission may be granted to students who do not fulfil minimal language requirements for admission.

The GRE General Test is required for admission to many graduate programs. Please refer to the eligibility regarding your specific programme of interest.
