As a part of Durham College application process, Indian students are required to take an English proficiency test. The students can take any of these mentioned tests; IELTS/TOEFL iBT/Duolingo/PTE. 

They will have to meet certain standards for each test:

English proficiency test

 Minimum score required

IELTS

Overall 6 Bands, with a minimum of 5.5 in each section

TOEFL iBT

Overall 88, with minimum of 22 in each section

Pearson Test of English (Academic)

Minimum score 58 to 64

CAEL

Overall 70, with minimum of 70 in each section


Duolingo English Test

110 to 120
