    At Texas Tech University, the eligibility requirements for international students are listed below:

    English Language Proficiency

    • The English proficiency exam scores like IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, ACT are required for undergraduate and graduate students whose English is not their first language.

    • For admission into the college of Business Administration, official GRE and GMAT scores are required. For applicants who have work experience for more than two years, the GMAT scores are waived.

    • The scores are to be submitted directly from the Testing Service to the Texas Tech University. The scores are valid for only two years.

    Academic version - 6.5

    SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)

    Reading and writing score - 500

    ACT (American College Testing Program)

    Required score -21

    PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English)

    Academic score -60; General scores are not acceptable

    Cambridge CPE (Proficiency in English)

    CPE Grade -C; For graduate students, the required score is 180 or above

    Cambridge CAE (Advanced English)

    CAE Grade- B; For graduate students, the required score is 175 or above.

    Duolingo English Test (Online examination)

    Required score -100
