The University of Birmingham requires the following English language qualifications for admission:
IELTS: An overall score of at least 6.0, with no individual band lower than 5.5.
TOEFL iBT: An overall score of no less than 80, with a minimum score of 19 in each section.
Pearson Test of English (PTE): A minimum score of 64, with no section lower than 59.
Cambridge English: An overall score of at least 169, with no component scoring below 162.The university also accepts these additional online tests:
