International students who want to study at UNCC must demonstrate their English language proficiency by taking one of the following exams: TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE Academic. The minimum required score for each exam is 79, 6.5, and 58, respectively. In addition to the English language requirements, international students must also meet the following requirements: completed high school or equivalent, transcripts from previous schools, letters of recommendation, personal statement, and application fee.
