    A number of English proficiency tests are accepted by Oxford University for graduate and undergraduate programmes. Exams that are approved and the minimal marks needed for them can differ depending on the course. International English Language Testing System, or IELTS 2. The internet-based TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) 3. The Cambridge Certificate of English Proficiency (CPE) 4. The Advanced English Certificate from Cambridge (CAE) 5. The Duolingo English Test (sometimes rejected).
