For admission into the Master of Information Technology course, students are required to meet the following Monash University requirements:
- Entry Level 1: An Australian Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), necessarily in IT, with at least 60% average
- Entry Level 2: An Australian Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a cognate or major in IT including Computing, Computer Science, or a Technical Information Technology field, with completed studies in Java and Python programming, Algorithms, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems and Networks, and Databases with minimum 60% average
