International students who wish to study at Bangor University are required to meet both course-specific and general admission requirements. The academic requirements for international students will depend on their country of origin. The minimum admission requirements for Indian students are:
Courses
Minimum Eligibility
International Year Zero
- Class 12 examination pass with an average of 50% or above
International Year 1 – Business Management and Finance
- A minimum of 55% in Class 12 school certificate from arecognisedcentral or state boards
- A Diploma (3 to 4 years in duration) from Polytechnic / College of Technology Diploma
Undergraduate / Bachelor Degree
- 65% in Class 12 in Central and State Boards (except Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh State Boards)
- 85% in Class for students studying in the state boards of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh
Postgraduate / Master Degree
- A minimum 2:2 or 2nd division or 50-55% or a GPA of 6.0
- Students with a study gap of 3 years or more will be required to provide two letters of recommendation (i.e., One Academic Reference and One Employer Reference)
Postgraduate Research / PhD
- Good grades in Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree.
- Previous research experience is essential
