Hi Rajni,
Cambridge English exams - ESOL (English for Speaker's of Other Language) are officially accepted by thousands of universities, employers and governments globally for higher education, job, etc.
As for A1 test, there are many levels / grading in the Cambridge test. A1 is the basic level
