What are the extra benefits for studnets having positions in board exams?

Being an alumnus of LPU, I can proudly say that LPU believes in eliminating any monetary hurdle in the path of achieving education. When I was studying my M.Tech from LPU, I got scholarship on the basis of my marks in 12th. LPU offers many scholarships on various parameters and one of them is based on your performance in LPU NEST. In some courses LPU NEST is mandatory but in others it is for scholarships. Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories: 1. Eligibility Qualification The scholarship will also be offered on the basis of Eligibility qualification. 2. Certain National Level Tests (like JEE Main NEET UCEED CAT MAT GATE GPAT etc. ) 3. LPU NEST. (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test) 4. Performance in Sports, Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Service and Bravery Awards 5. Special Scholarships and/or Fee Concessions for Ph.D. Applicants (Scholarship phases as mentioned below are not applicable) Defense and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) personnel and their dependents Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability So if you are in top 20 rank holder in you respective board. Then you may get the scholarship upto full programme fee waiver depending on you fulfil the other criteria. I hope this helps.

' LPU offers special scholarship scheme of full Programme fee waiver to top 20 Rank holders of every recognised school board (State, Central and Open Board provided minimum 1000 students should have appeared in the said exam). The scholarship scheme is as below: (a) Full Programme Fee waiver (Including Examination Fee), and (b) Free Stay in four seater room (Air Cooled Room) in hostel or Free Transport Facility. There are certain clauses associated which students need to maintain for continuation of this scholarship: The student shall maintain a CGPA of 8.00 (or 80% marks in marks based programmes) in first year (first two semesters), 8.5 CGPA (I. e. 85% marks) in second year and 9.0 CGPA (I. e. 90% marks) in third year. In case the CGPA falls below the prescribed limit, the special scholarship will be withdrawn and normal scholarship will be applicable in successive years as per the qualifying marks in eligibility qualification or any other criteria as normally applicable. Having a position inboard exam will lead to a scholarship. I am an LPU alumnus. If I talk about LPU they provide free education to their board topper student who wants admission in their university. I get to know while I was getting admission they do provide this information while admission. You can also get more information about scholarships and fees on their toll-free number. Apart from this they also give hostel facilities to the topper students. But they do have terms and conditions I clearly don't know all the terms but one of them was They have to maintain a CGPA. And so on. Apart from that LPU does provide a lot of scholarships to supports personals, co-curricular activities, orphan, defence, Kashmir migrants and etc.

Being alumni of this Globally recognised University, I must say, LPU is always looking for the excellent Talent in all the respective fields of education, also encourage them to grow more by providing Study Grant, Scholarship benefits etc. In all possible manner. There is nothing more fruitful than getting a scholarship while you pursue any course. In today's date, we all know that most of the courses with Quality Education are counted in expensive fields of education and by the time the course is finished you are burdened by the amount of loan you took to pay your tuition fee.
