Tata Institute of Social Sciences releases the TISSNET cutoff on the basis of the following factors:
    1. Number of candidates appearing in TISSNET exam
    2. Number of seats available for a specific programme at a campus
    3. Number of candidates meeting qualifying cut off
    4. Category of the candidates
TISSNET cutoff is released along with the declaration of results. Candidates can check the cutoff of the programmes they have applied for. TISSNET cutoff is also revised based on the objections received by the candidates on the answer key. If the number of questions are deleted and the answers are revised, the cutoff is also revised.
