Vinayaka Missions University, also referred to as the Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (VMRF) is a recognised university situated in Salem, Tamil Nadu. It obtained accreditation from NAAC. Was founded in 1981 by the philanthropist Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram. The primary objective of this institution is to promote education across various fields such, as medicine, dentistry, paramedicine, homeopathy, engineering, management and basic sciences. Currently the university caters to a diverse student population of over 15,000 enrolled in courses.
