The indicators that determine the QS World University rankings are citations per faculty, academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, and international student ratio & international faculty ratio. There are 21 newly ranked institutions in the QS World University Rankings 2025, with the highest debutant being the American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) in the United Arab Emirates.
