    Hi Balakrishnan,
    To study further, as a diploma-holder in Mechanical Engineering, you have the following options:
    a) Seek lateral entry to the second year of BE (Mech). Several engineering colleges offer this provision;
    b) If you are employed, you can either do a part-time, 4-year BE from an engineering college or acquire a BS degree by distance mode e.g. from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Distance Learning Programme Division,
    c) Enroll for a Post-Diploma course in Computer Software offered at various polytechnics;
    d) Opt for the Associateship of the Institution of Engineers (India) AMIE Sections A & B taken together ar

    You may go for Product Design, but since you posted this question in design, i guess you are interested to understand all options in design. At this stage, you may want to understand the creative world and the careers it offers. There are many careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills and knowledge of history and current affairs.
