What are the further study options for B.Tech dropout?

Hi, My wife had to discontinue her BE degree after first year due to personal reasons. She then admitted to BTECH through distance program but she didn't find it worthy. Now, it's been more than 4 yrs she discontinued BE, the college belongs to VTU and she entered from CET. Any suggestion?
