There is no difference between regular BCA and lateral entry BCA if the course is done from a recognised university or institute. Lateral entry BCA graduates can get jobs which a regular BCA graduate get. Indian IT industry does not prefer BCA for entry level developer and testers role. There's nothing to worry at all that you are doing your BCA through lateral entry. The future and career growth aspects are more or less the same for both the students, provided you have done your BCA from a university which is UGC affiliated and its course structure is AICTE approved.
I am suggesting you to go to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi (GGSIPU) or Amity University, Noida to do your BCA from lateral entry. These are the best options for BCA.

There is no distinguishing factor between lateral entry and direct entry graduate in BCA as job opportunities are equivalent for both.
