Yes, there are many scopes after English degree. You can apply for the teaching profession. Due to less number of English teacher you can easily get the job.

BA English Hons. is a fairly flexible course and various diverse careers are available to you such as Management careers - Marketing, Human Resources etc; hospitality; event management; public relations; corporate communications; instructional design; Media careers like Advertising, Journalism and Film Making; Academic careers like Research and particularly Training. You could also do an MA or an MBA or take up some of the Professional courses. One of the great employment options is journalism or reporting. However you may also need a journalism degree, but many employers are willing to take your English degree as substitute. You can actually do the reporting and writing for papers, magazines, and books, or you can find positions in editing and critiquing.You could also try the retail sector because it offers a diverse working environment where you can work your way up a corporate ladder using your education.Instructional design is where a lot of English majors find their niche, writing classroom, safety, and instructional information for companies, technology, and just about anything you can imagine from safety warning to manuals or instructions for use. If you love to write, you could be an author, who dedicates their time to writing books on all kinds of topics. Those that do want to write often freelance, writing articles and information for books, magazines, websites, doctors, schools etc. You have a lot of options with an English degree and you will likely find it a very rewarding career choice. You can take your English degree in just about any direction and really make it work for you.

After successfully completing B.A. English (Hons) students should be prepared for careers like media & advertising, writing & publishing, journalism, public relations, content writing & blogging, creative writing, teaching and academia, for further graduate or Professional Studies in English communications, or law; and for other fields requiring competent communication skills.

Language, one can get employment in any government and private organisation, educational institution or can run his own private training center. After doing post graduation, NET or Ph.D. one can start career as assistant professor in central and state level universities and affiliated degree colleges. There are also options for Editor, English . Translator. Apart from this, private companies also have good scope for English . People. Once you become an expert in this field, then there is no dearth of work for you. After graduating from this course, you can play the role of NGO, Corporate Sector, Tourism, Embassy, Publication Business, TV, Radio Broadcasting Advertisement, BPO, Interpreter etc. Today there are many opportunities in BPO for the knowledgeable of English .
