Hi,
Being honest with you Sports Engineering is a real good option for those who have a passion of doing it because it's a little less glamorous job compare to others.
Also, in India it will take time to get the momentum. It's a fact that in India sports are being developed but it's hard to say that being a sports engineer success will be there. -
There is a sports management specialization subject with KJ Somaiya Institute of management in Mumbai and MICA in Ahmedabad. These are PG MBA courses with great opportunity.
Companies like:

2. Onspon require great amount of talents from management institutes.
