What are the government competitive exams other than IAS ?
i am preparing for I.A.S? RIGHT KNOW i am in 3 yr. of my graduation , i wnt to know while prparing for I.A.S ,is there any other competition exams which i can give? -- I KNOW There WILL BE A LOT OF --- but here i am asking for that exams those syllabus should be similar for what i am preparing

see the patern of every exam is bit differnt but while you are prepaing for civil services it can help you in prepration of other exams like bank po and cleck exam is bit easier then i as but the maths g k reasoning section only will help you . you can also prepare for p cs .

well,
when u preparing for IAS you cover a vast area of subjects for pre as well as mains,and all these areas are needed to be covered for any other competative exam like CDS,SSB, CRPF,PCS,MBA AND other competitive exams as well so you not only increase your knowledge but you prepare and up

Hi, There are many Government jobs at different levels open to graduates in different ministries, Government departments, banks, public sector units, defence, state departments etc. Notifications for these are available in the Employment News and all major dailies. Do keep a watch on the newspapers

Danish, you can appear in the State PSC exams also and your preparation for IAS exam will come handy for those exams as well. As a matter of fact you can even give Bank PO's exam.

You can simultaneousy appear for SSC graduate level examination for recruitment to just below officer grade posts in Central Government. You will have to prepare for mathematics in addition to what you are preparing for Civil services.SSc will bring out notification for this examination in November

You can prepare for state level civil services exam simultaneously with IAS.the sylabus of both exams are almost similar but different as far as level of questions being asked is concerned.
