What are the government exams for Civil Engineers?

<p>Hi!</p><p>Below are the 2 important exams that you can apply as a Civil Engineer: 1. The very first and most sought after option for government Job is GATE exam. Through this exam you can get good government. Job opportunities and almost all PSUs in India have mandated GATE score/exam for jobs. However, you can use this score to get admission in IITs and NITs for pursuing M.Tech if at all you want to pursue it. 2. IES (Indian Engineering Services Exam) is another most sought after government exam. This is purely for government. Job. The above two mentioned options are most followed options for grabbing technical government job. However, there are other State Level Exams like SSC (Staff Selection Commission) available which you can try. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Tata Steel are also some of the options which you can think of. They conduct their own exams and interview. Besides, you can go for UPSC Civil Services Exams if you just want a government job and not a technical government job.</p>
