What are the government job opportunities after completing B.Com?

There are a lot of government job opportunities for B.com graduates. Some are as follows: 1.UPSC opens opportunities for a lot of jobs for graduates and postgraduates. 2.Some banks opens opportunities.Try to write SBI clerk, SBI probationary officer, etc. 3.IBPS conduct exam for a majority of the banks in India.They hire students who have done B.Com. 4.Railway jobs are also there for B.Com students. 5.National human resource Department will also invite application for MBA graduates. 6.Employment agencies under central and state government are also inviting students for jobs with Master of Business Administration. 7.Police cader jobs are also a chance for B.Com students. 8.Military and paramilitary recruitment also sometimes keep B.Com as a criterion. 9.General Staff selection commission exams can also be written by the B.Com graduates.

You can apply for bank (P.O) or SSC exams. You can also go for UPSC exams.

There are various exams, depending up on the grade and posts. The UPSCs highest grade of examinations which a B.com graduate can appear is the IAS, IFS, IPS and other central government services. The SSC also hold different tests as to fill the vacancies in different government organizations like Accounts assistant, Tax assistant, Grade III Exam, Combined Metric Level and Combined Graduate Level Exam etc. Moreover, B.Com graduates can also look for jobs into defense, banking and railways.

The UPSCs highest grade of examinations which a B.com graduate can appear is the IAS, IFS, IPS and other central government services. The SSC (staff selection commission) is used to get jobs in different government organizations like Accounts assistant, Tax assistant, and other related jobs. 2)Banking Jobs: The banking sector is another major recruiter of B.Com graduates. Some of the openings for B.Com graduates in a Bank are Clerical to Probationary officer posts. Most of the banks hold entrance exams for recruitment and may also have other rounds to employ candidates. 3)In Indian Railways: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) carries out different examinations for employing qualified candidates for which B. Com graduates can also apply. A B.com graduate can join in the railway as Assistant Accounts Officers and go higher by clearing the department exams and grade promotion to Divisional Accounts Officers, Senior Divisional Accounts Officers, Chief Accounts Officer, etc. 4)Jobs in Defense: In the Defense sector, B.Com graduates can join in the Indian Defense Accounts Service (IDAS) which is for maintaining the accounts of the Defense.
