What are the government job opportunities after completing Ethical Hacking?

Hello, This is a golden era for IT and Digitization in India. Now, the government too are launching various Apps (BHIM or SWAYAM) and software for general public. Hence, to secure the data, programs and software, government is now spending a huge money on its security and hiring the bunch of Ethical Hackers. You need to be excellent in this field. After doing this course from the Nest College with passing grades, you can work in any government organization like; Ministry of information and broadcasting. Your designation could be, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigators, Licensed Penetration Tester, and Information Security Manager Etc. Also, you can earn a huge amount of money while working with government.

An ethical hacker is one who hacks with legal permission to strengthen the systems and make them secured and hack free. They are also known as White hat hackers. They need to have the certifications for an ethical hacker which make them eligible to get a job. The job opportunities for an ethical hacker are available in government as well as private sectors. Government agencies such as military and law enforcement agencies, defense organizations, forensic laboratories, detective companies, investigative services offer many jobs for ethical hackers. They can work as Network engineers, web security managers, system administrators and so on. Some skilled hackers work for investigation agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Federal Bureau of Information (FBI) etc. After proper certification, graduates can set up their own companies offering ethical hacking services. An ethical hacker can get an initial salary of Rs. 2.5-4 lakh per annum in case of government jobs and it would increase more once they have more experience in the field.

Jobs such as Network Security Administrator, Chief Information Security Officer, Application Security Tester, Chief Application Security Officer, etc. offer exciting prospects for ethical hacking. The ethical hackers can work in Defense organizations, law enforcement organizations, forensic organizations, detective companies, investigative organizations, etc. The government jobs for ethical hackers in different organizations basically require the hacker to make use of hacking tools, tactics, and techniques to breach the existing security protocols by finding small loopholes, assessing the security of these networks/ website/ application and to execute the measures that can prevent such unwanted intrusions. They test and develop security systems. The job opportunities are immense and good remuneration only enhances the desirability of the job. The salaries of ethical hackers tend to be nearly 20 to 30% more than the salaries earned by professional in other positions at the same level in other IT fields. A beginner in the field of ethical hacking may get a salary package of about INR 3 to 6 Lacs per annum with a government organization. However, the pay can rise substantially with better academic qualification, certifications, and work experience. Some ethical hackers tend to earn INR 30 Lacs per annum. The primary hubs for these jobs include Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

Hello, Almost everyone wants to be in Ethical Hacking. These days, use of software has increased tremendously. Digital footprint is increasing across India. Now, with this, activities of actual hackers has also increased. They want to siphon off our hard earned money by hacking into our bank accounts etc. This, of course is resisted by service providers by establishing firewalls etc. Nowadays, they have started employing hackers themselves to see the efficiency of their firewalls. These people are called ethical hackers, since they are working for the service providers who is providing service like banks etc. Government of India employees these ethical hackers to test efficiency of government systems. But, then again the number of vacancies that arise every year are limited. To conclude, I would say that government job opportunities do exist for ethical hackers but in limited numbers.
