    After completing Ph.D in the field of Law, you are directly entitled to approach in any private or government Law College for the post of Assistant Professor. For such, you need not to clear National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC). This is a settled principle that the candidates having Ph.D in law are exempted from the purview of NET.
