You will have the option of working with construction companies, builders, independently, consultancies, and many other options as well. There are also jobs available in the public sector which will include departments such as National Institute of Urban Affairs, Public Works Department, Housing and Urban Development Corporation, Ministry of Defense, National Building organisation, Archaeological Department, Town and Country Planning organisation, Departments of Railways, Post and Telegraphs, Public Sector Undertakings, National Building Construction Corporation Ltd., etc. Different profiles: Architect Architecture Designer Architecture Engineer Interior Designer Salary Expected In the beginning, an architect can expect as much as Rs. 20,000 at the minimum. In about four to five years, expect anything from INR 50,000 to 60,000. The amount of investment in the sector seems to increase with each passing day.
