What are the great things about atmosphere of LPU campus?

I had spent my 5 Years in LPU during my pursuance of Integrated B.Tech. MBA program & believe me I really enjoyed each & every moment of my campus life. I never get bored & never feel alone in this happening University. This query is actually remembering my days in LPU as Hosteler. It's like Home away from Home. Campus is completely safe & secured, 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances. There are CCTV surveillance 24X7 from every corner. Undoubtedly Lovely Professional University is the biggest single campus University in Northern India (600+ Acres). LPU campus is one of the finest campus in India & rightly said as others "like a city within a city". LPU campus is having all advanced facilities & infrastructures (Hospital, Shopping Mall, Gym, Indoor Stadium, Post Office, Bank, Food Courts & restaurants with International cuisines, Mess & Canteen - both veg & non-veg, Hostel Facility, Gaming Points etc. ). Almost for any of your needs you need not to go outside of the campus. Huge diversity of students both National & International (FROM 28 STATES & 40+ COUNTRIES) can be observed in LPU Campus. 30000+ students are there in LPU campus. Safe & secure environment provided to students & Clean and green environment with full of fresh Oxygen. Lovely Professional University is the HUB of any sports person. LPU do possess Sports clubs in 24 different sports. There are huge well maintained open grounds for outdoor games. Lovely Professional University do have Olympic Standard swimming pool within the campus inside the SHANTI DEVI MITTAL INDOOR STADIUM. Diving pool & warming up pool are also there adjacent to Swimming Pool. LPU is also having the best trainers to train students rightly, and with full safety & security. The other facilities in the indoor stadium are- 6 Squash Courts, 1 Basketball Court, 6 Volleyball Courts, 6 Badminton Courts, 1 Shooting Range, Weightlifting Room, Chess Room, Yoga Room, and Aerobics room, Taekwondo arena, etc. Students can practice a variety of sports like Badminton, Basketball, Shooting, Boxing, or avail the GYM facility. With the aim of all-round development of students, so that students would be getting emerged strongly in each & every domain of life, there are nearly 60 student organization or clubs have been created by Lovely Professional University. Being an alumnus I must say LPU university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. It is manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Our security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. A majority of security personnel and gunmen are experienced ex-servicemen, fully equipped and trained. Lady security staff are specially recruited for girls hostel security. LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. The security department provides the necessary electronic security support system with more than 4000 CCTV cameras for the safety of the students and staff. The University has its very own fire station department, fully equipped with a fire truck and trained firemen. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. Moreover the faculty members are highly supportive and go an extra mile to help out the students.

I took my admission in MBA and trust me the Business school in LPU is undoubtedly the best. I always felt that the faculty members were very much concerned to shape us and make us ready to compete in the upcoming placement drives in the next two years. I was pretty sure to go for my higher studies in a very good university and then I came across LPU. The single-campus university located in Jalandhar, Punjab. Initially I was stunned by the beautiful campus and infrastructure and gradually I made my mind when I got to know about the university achievements and popularity. They have good faculty and good infrastructure. They provide very good study ambiance and are very up to date with the latest developments. Overall culture in the university seems to be good. Hostel: LPUs hostels have a good accommodation where you'll get a room with an attached bathroom. They have a large collection of rooms for 2 seater, LPU has the wide range of AC and Non AC rooms. Rooms are good to stay. I was also a Hostler at LPU and the thing I miss the most is the Hostel Life of LPU, those late night studies, looking for snacks at midnight and watching movies on the weekends was very awesome I wish I could live back those days. The schedule followed in messes are structured in a well-mannered form where your morning breakfast might be choices between various type of Paranthas and poha with or without butter, in the beverage you will get milk and tea. Where for lunch you'll get some seasonal vegetables, potatoes, and pulses. And for an evening you'll get milk and tea. In a dinner, you'll get seasonal vegetables, pulses etc. Once a week you will get a special diet where you'll get some Chinese food or Indian special occasional food. Academic: All the faculty members are highly qualified to have at least Masters and 70-80% of them are even having PhDs or pursuing. These facilities are also having good years of work experience, so it might be good to consider that LPU is having the wide range of qualified and experienced faculty members. Placement: The placements are completely based on the performance of the students, because so many good companies come to campus drive in the college. The current placement status that many students got placed in the genuine companies before final exams in reputed companies on good packages. The college also looks for skill development for the student by providing summer training and internship in the final year.
