Living in a hostel is unique experience for those who stay inside. I know through students and other fellow faculty members how the hostel is. I will tell you what I have heard from others. LPU is a town in itself located in sprawling 600 acre campus. The hostel gives lot of facilities to the resident scholars. LPU has the most comfortable residential and first of its kind. Above all there is round-the-clock vigil through security cameras and there is a huge army of security personnel deployed all over the university. LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the AC and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week. LPU residential facilities are as state of the art as the campus is. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box B.Ed Study Table, Chair and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having maximum load upto 5 ampere per apartment. One and Two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette. LPU residential facilities are as state of the art as the campus is. The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box B.Ed Study Table, Chair and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having maximum load upto 5 ampere per apartment. One and Two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette. There are laundry services, dedicated parking, departmental store, cafeteria, saloon for boys, printing and copier machines, shops in all hostels, Guest Rooms, Car Wash Facility, Shopping Mall and Tuck Shops. The hostel has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthan and many other Regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea is served at breakfast. In lunch Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati and Raita are served. The dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, dessert.

LPU rooms are the best hostel rooms you can think of. The entire LPU hostel is no less than heaven. The rooms at LPU are classified into four categories: 4 seater, 3 seater, 2 seater, and 1 seater. Apart from it, you also have the option of choosing either a cooler room or an AC room. You can choose any of the options depending on your preference. But whichever room you choose, you will get everything you need inside the room. The beds are super comfortable, the room is well lit, there are airy windows and there is a study table for each of the beds. The hostel rooms also have attached washrooms with geysers and 24X7 water running. The rooms are basically decorated with curtains but students also decorate them with LED lights. So, LPU hostel rooms are fully equipped and beautiful but you can make them more beautiful by using decorative items and proper lights. The facilities that you get for LPU hostels include mess, laundry, parks, vending machines, restaurants, turnstile gates, attached washrooms, free cleaning service, the special menu on festivals, chilled water, 24*7 Wi-Fi, 24*7 electricity, Navratri food for the girls who are fasting, and a lot more.

Hi, The hostel facilities are great at LPU. Let's take the example of the 4-seater room- The 4 seater room has 4 B.Ed 4 Study Table, 4 Plastic Chair, 4 Single Almirah, 1 AC/Air cooler (depending upon whether you opt for AC room or the other one), 1 Geyser with an attached washroom. There are copious facilities in Hostels. Some of the facilities are: 24 Hrs. Security Services, CCTV Surveillance, Electricity Backup, Water Supply. Turnstile gates are there at the entry of every hostel for security reasons. 24 Hrs. Medical Service (Medicines and tests on Payment) 24 Hrs. Staff Assistance, Study Room, TV Room. The hostel life is always memorable in ones life. Being an alumnus let me share with you the hostel facilities. The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games: Swimming Shooting Squash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Students can join all these memberships on a yearly basis. The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, medical lab, dieticians and physiotherapists. In house laundry services are available at a nominal charges to students. Keeping student's requirements in mind, University offers quality residence (offering above average necessities) for their living comforts. Become independent! Some of my friends are utilizing the residential facility at LPU and I have come to know from them that the residential facilities at LPU the safest residential place for a student to live in with 4000+ CCTV cameras and more than 400 security persons, LPU has zero tolerance towards ragging or any other unlawful activities. In my opinion one should stay in hostel of LPU because those hostels are maintained quiet well. The hostels of LPU are very well managed. Entry of boys is strictly prohibited in girls hostel and vice versa. Entry in boys hostel after 8 pm is restricted and is allowed only after consulting the warden. The hostel has many variants. You can opt for Single seater, 2 seater, 4 seater or 6 seater depending upon the availability of the same. If you have any problem with your room partner then you can report your concern to the warden. If you reason is genuine then your room might be changed. One more advantage of staying in LPU hostel is that you get 24x7 library access. LPU offers a huge Library System with 11 branches. There are more than 43 Lacs books and e-books on all subject fields. Library system subscribes number of journals, magazines and newspapers. The rooms are cleaned after every two days and infrastructure of hostel is very well constructed with all the amenities a student may require.

Hostels in LPU are more than secure with few restrictions on students which could help them become disciplined. Like day scholars are not allowed in hostels. And even hostels are not allowed to go in other hostels this is weird but for security purposes it is good. And for clarity, I have made this restriction in point have a look at below points. 1) 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict action used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of to such rules. 2) Students are not allowed to enter any other Hostel without permission of the authority. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. 3) Boys are allowed to go outside the campus as per requirement but they need to return back & report to Hostel by 8 PM. 4) Special Permission will be extended to Boys student for a night out with the written permission of the Warden & Parents. 5) Any publicly offensive acts are clearly not allowed in the university and strict actions are taken against such act. Though there are many restrictions you can observe from the above-mentioned points for the hostellers but believe me at the end of the day you will find it necessary for all your security & safety. These restrictions would definitely make you learn how to lead your life in a controlled environment. Campus Security Surveillance : LPU campus is equipped with 6500+ CCTV surveillance a 24X7. Hello As per my knowledge after visiting the LPU website and discussing with alumni of LPU. There are eight hostels & 3 apartments for boys and 6 separate hostels for girls. The mess of each hostel is equipped with modern facilities. Each hostel has a Residential Warden under the direction of Chief Warden ensures implementation of discipline and creation of an atmosphere that is cond There are numerous things that are provided in the Hostel of LPU tries its best to provide you with all the required amenities. The facilities which you can expect to enjoy as a hosteler are stated below: I. A separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus ii. Rooms with attached washroom, B.Ed (without mattress), table, chair, and almirahs except in certain dormitory rooms. Iii. Air cooler / Air Conditioner facility in each room (as opted) iv. Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines v. Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University. Vi. In campus Hospital with an ambulance to provide medical assistance to students vii.
