    The provisional allotment is done in the following manner:

    • Once the interview/mains examination is completed, depending on the number of IBPS RRB vacancies, shortlisted candidates are provisionally allotted to one of the RRBs
    • The provisional allotment of candidates in IBPS RRB exam is done based on merit-cum-preference
    • For Officers Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the provisional allotment is done within the RRBs of the state opted by the candidates
    • Candidates belonging to the reserved category, selected on the basis of the norms of the General category will be treated as per General Category candidates
