Important preparation tips for students preparing for CS exams: -Draft a schedule and stick to it. -Focus on you modules first rather than referring to thousands of other supplementary books. -Coaching and tution classes helps keep you motivated,ease and simplify your preparation but it may not stand true for each and all. You may or may not personally require coaching as per your level of intellect. -Take it easy even if you fail initially once.Its not as easy that you appear for an exam and you clear it. Patience is the key here. -You need to smartly work out the syllabus on basis of its importance and frequency of being asked in past examination. Plan accordingly.

1. You need to prepare thoroughly & systematically. Concept clearing is the important thing in CS to crack the exams. Prepare from ICSI study materials because it is the best material according to me. Keep reading some reference book of some good author too for more detailed knowledge. You can get an overview of the entire subject at the time of start studies. If there is senior ,what is the wrong for inquiring about the subject. 2. Refer last 5 years exam papers and solutions thereof. 3. Concentrate more on recent amendments and case laws specially from CS newsletters. 4. Never refer anything new at the last moment specially during exams. 5. Don't waste time.The days will go fast and faster and the exam will due. 6. You need to plan that what you need to read today and learn today in a paper sheet just before start reading. This will build confidence in yourself that you are focused on your goal of cracking CS exam in first attempt. 7. Revision is a must. Keep revising whatever you read in whole week on a Sunday.
