Dear Anjitha, Below are the scope for both BCA and MCA. *BCA* By pursuing a course in Bachelors in Computer Application course the candidate is trained in the various areas like basics in programming, networking, various application packages etc. After completing BCA, one can find gainful employment in various areas like programming, networking, system administration etc. There are many companies which specialize in these areas like WIPRO, TCS etc. However, the scope is not only limited to the IT companies, as most organizations whether big or small nowadays will have requirements in the IT sections. These include Banking sector, Telecommunication sector, Dairy Sector etc. *MCA* Masters of Computer Application can be considered to be one of the most prominent Master’s level courses in our country. This course mainly deals with the development of computer applications for the purpose of updating of computer program languages. MCA also aims at creating better tools for faster and advanced applications. After completing the degree, one can find gainful employment as the demand for professionals in computer science has gradually gone up with the growth as well as development of information technology. An individual with a degree in Computer Applications have an opportunity to get good jobs in corporate or other IT fields.
