Hi, The scope for Agriculture is very vast in these days. India is an agriculture-based country as 70% of the Indian people depends on these fields only. It deals with Animal biology and Plant biology. Student's salary is competitive enough as its unique field. Students are having opportunities in Corporate jobs like the seed, fertilizers, tractor industries, governments job- state govt., ARS, Banks, etc., Entrepreneurship, Research, Higher studies, etc. If I talk about the placements, as University has ICAR accreditation, numerous companies visit LPU for campus placements. Well, I will try to answer your question to the best of my knowledge. The placement drives at LPU are highly efficient and successful, and I m saying this because one of my friend has done B.SC(Hons)Agriculture from LPU only and right now she is working with HDFC Bank. Lovely Professional University one of the pioneers in the field of Agriculture education offers various courses which helps in building expertise through well planned on-field implementation and testing of basic concepts in production, yield enhancement disease resistant and better shelf life of food and flora. Creating professionals to tackle the dogma from seed to stomach. B. Sc. Students Placed In Reliance Retail At 3.75 LPA Reliance retail which is a recognised brand for Reliance Fresh selected 6 students of B.Sc. Hello Ashish,Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present in front of Graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans). Talking about Private Sector jobs, graduates may find jobs as Managers at Plantations, as Officers at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agriculture Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc. Research Officer Quality Assurance Officer Agriculture Officer Agriculture Loan Officer (in Banks) Production Manager Operations Manager Farm Manager Agriculture is relatively more important (as measured by their share of agriculture in state GDP).
